Beavers

Beavers is for 6-8 year olds. We meet on Thursday nights from 5:00 to 6:30 at the Scout Hut. Our motto is "Fun and Friends" - at Beavers we have lots of fun and make new friends. Often we go to places like Woodlands, Crealy, Playzone and Butlins, as well as playing fun games in the Scout Hut.

Games that we enjoy include Heads and Hands, Bean Bag in the Bucket and of course Elephant Hunt.

Otter holds a Fun Day competition every year for the district with 4 Beavers in each team. They have a lot of silly fun games with points awarded from 8 down to 1. At the end of the day a winner is announced who, along with the runners up, gets a medal. All the Beavers that take part receive a certificate.
